• The applicant must be a domicile of Rajasthan to apply for the scheme.
• For Classes 11th and 12th, the student must be studying in a government school.
• The applicant must have secured at least 60% marks in the previous marksheet.
• The student must be studying in a recognized government or private educational institution.
• Both male and female students are eligible to apply.
• To apply for the Rajasthan Post Matric Scholarship 2026, the applicant must belong to an eligible category such as SC, ST, OBC, EBC, EWS, MBC, DNT, or other applicable categories.
• The student’s family income must be within the prescribed income limit for their respective category.
• Under the Chief Minister Higher Education Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, students studying in courses at government or privately recognized educational institutions within Rajasthan, as well as courses offered by national-level government educational institutions located outside Rajasthan, may also be eligible.
• Departmental provisions may apply to students belonging to categories such as Antyodaya, Widows, Divorced, Orphans, and Persons with Disabilities.

• Students belonging to the OBC category must have an annual family income of not more than ₹1.50 lakh.
• Students belonging to the SC/ST/SBC categories must have an annual family income of not more than ₹2.50 lakh.
• Under the Rajasthan Post Matric Scholarship 2026, students belonging to categories such as BPL Card Holders, Antyodaya Card Holders, Divorced, Widows, Orphans, and Persons with Disabilities may also be eligible to apply.
• Students belonging to the EBC category must have an annual family income of not more than ₹1 lakh.
• Students applying under the DNT category must have an annual family income of not more than ₹2 lakh.
• Students studying in national-level educational institutions listed by the Education Department must have an annual family income of not more than ₹5 lakh.
